Agila first opened its doors in 1992, and, with many of our original members still here we are proud to be recognised as a first class gym facility that caters for everyone!
At a glance – We have a large free weight area and a variety of ‘cardio’ machines.
There is a huge range of gym machines which are both sectorized and plate loaded.
There is a separate boxing studio and a Ladies only small group training studio upstairs. We offer Personal training and nutritional consults should you need them.
There are Ladies and men’s changing rooms both with showers and free lockers. Lastly, we have lots of onsite free parking!
Agila Store
We always have a good choice of pre and post workout drinks, Protein powders, meal replacement drinks and protein bars to take away. If there is a particular brand you like that we don’t carry stock of we can just buy it in for you as a pre order.
Our Agila branded clothing has been a favourite of members for many years. We have a range of Sweats, Hoody’s and tee-shirts ready to buy, and, of course we can make up items in different colours on pre order.
Find it hard to motivate yourself?
We have some first class instructors in-house who are available for Personal training!
Maybe you need a short course to improve your techniques, a block session to help you lose weight or a regular booking each week to keep you motivated!

Visiting a friend in Billericay and needed a gym to go to while here for a week. the staff was welcoming and super cleanly— I saw him walk around often to make sure the equipment was kept well. It has a lot of fantastic specialty equipment from hack squats, calibrated dumbbells, and iso-lateral plate loaded versions of every machine. if I lived in billericay I’d have definitely made it my gym of choice. I’ll be visiting again when I make my way over to Billericay again.
